Mercy Mwaria, PhD, 2007
Mercy Mwaria holds a PhD in Medical sociology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has done extensive reproductive health and behavioral research in Kenya, Africa particularly in the area of HIV/AIDS with Family Health International, The Population Council, and the African Population and Health Research Centre. Her research interests include global health issues, and particularly HIV/AIDS, women’s health, and aging.
