Michelle Wilson is a specialist in gender and deviant behavior and social control, and directs UAB's Women's Studies Program. Dr. Wilson's current research is on abortion with an emphasis on the differences between early and late decision makers. Related projects include studying leaders in the abortion debate. One project analyzes the mutual attributions of pro-choice and pro-life activists. Another investigates diversity in the pro-choice movement.
