Alan Stamm, M.D.

Dr. Stamm is a board certified physician in the practice of Internal Medicine. He attended medical school at the University of California in San Diego and completed his residency at the University of California in San Francisco and at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed a fellowship in infectious diseases at UAB and joined the faculty in 1980. Interests: Hepatitis, immunization, nosocomial infections, infection control, employee health.
Dr. Stamm's special practice interests include preventive medicine and geriatrics. In his free time, Dr. Stamm is Scoutmaster of Boy Scouts Troop 57. He also enjoys yard work, running, backpacking, and keeping up with the interests of his three teenagers.
