Dean's Group

School of Social and Behavioral Sciences Dean’s Group

The Dean’s Group at the UAB School of Social and Behavioral Sciences is composed of alumni and friends whose generosity assists the School in sustaining a level of excellence in academic programs. Annual gifts of $1,000 or more from Group members help provide equipment, and state-of-the-art teaching technology, faculty development and undergraduate scholarship support. Lifetime membership in the Dean’s Group is awarded to individuals with a giving history or a one-time gift totaling $20,000.

Members of the Dean’s Group receive the following:

Recognition as a Dean’s Group member in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences annual newsletter
Recognition as a Dean’s Group member on the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences web site
Periodic updates from the Dean on school happenings and accomplishments
Invitations to special events
Recognition as a donor to the Campaign for UAB

Dean’s Group members may designate their gifts toward the Department of their choice. There are a number of giving opportunities, including endowments for support funds, scholarships and fellowships. Your pledge can be paid a number of ways.
