Minor in Criminal Justice

Requirements:
The minor in Criminal Justice consists of 18 hours in courses, including required courses of JS100, JS101, and JS330 and nine hours of elective credits, six of which must be completed at the 300 level or higher. Transfer students must earn at least 6 hours of justice sciences credit at UAB in courses at the 300 level or higher. These 18 hours are fulfilled only by courses in which a grade of C or higher is earned. The Department of Justice Sciences reserves the right to require a specific grade point average as an additional prerequisite for courses at the 300 level or above.
