Financial Assistance and Scholarships

The Department of Government and Public Service has four graduate assistantships, which can be awarded during any quarter as vacancies occur. Interested candidates should follow application procedure presented in the sidebar of this page. The MPA Alumni Scholarship of $500 is given to the most outstanding student from the department every year. The MPA program also has a contract with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide up to four two-year HUD fellowships based on financial need. In addition, other financial resources are available through the Office of Student Financial Aid.

Fill out the GRA Application Form and submit by February 15.
Prepare an electronic copy of your resume (in Word or as a PDF).
