Renato Corbetta, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor
Renato Corbetta received his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Arizona (2004). His research and teaching interests are in the areas of international relations and political methodology, with emphasis on international conflict and conflict management. Prof. Corbetta is also interested in international organizations, international law, and foreign policy decision-making. His current research focuses on third party interventions in ongoing international conflicts and dynamics of conflict expansion. At UAB he teaches courses on international relations (introductory and upper-division seminar), international security, international law, US foreign policy, and statistics.
